Thank you for visiting my website.
I believe that the counselling relationship is unique, because it offers a safe, unbiased and confidential space which enables you to explore the things that are causing you difficulty. In doing so, new awareness can be achieved, and options and choices identified.
The initial steps towards change can be difficult, but once taken can lead you to a happier and more fulfilling life.
Difficult feelings experienced over a period of time can cause a sense of hopelessness, which can lead to depression or anxiety.
Counselling offers you a space to talk about what is making life difficult for you. The aim of the therapy is to identify what needs to change in order for you to move forwards in life.
I have experience across a wide range of issues and work with clients on both a short term and long term basis, depending on the needs of the individual.
I am an integrative therapist - combining a Humanistic approach with CBT and Psychodynamic theory.
